Braintree Food Bank Offers Help To Stop & Shop Workers On Strike

Any striking Stop & Shop workers are welcome to stop by the Marge Crispin Center in Braintree and take what they need.

BRAINTREE, MA — The Marge Crispin Center, a local food pantry, is offering assistance to all Stop & Shop workers while they continue to strike. Any member of the Stop & Shop Workers United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 328 are welcome to stop by and take what they need.

The food pantry, located at 74 Pond St, is open from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Any questions can be directed to the center's co-director Ann Toland at 781-848-2164.

"(A) Big Braintree thank you to Ann and all the great volunteers at the Marge Crispin Center for their help and support to our friends and neighbors who are fighting for what they believe in," Town Councilor Sean Powers said.
