BRAINTREE, MA — The following letter to the editor comes from Braintree "Friends for Veterans." All views expressed are their own.
Dear Candidate Jodi Walorz Killeffer, Braintree “Friends for Veteran” was founded in 2006 by a group of Braintree, Class of 1965, Veterans, Gold Star family members and residents who honor and respect those 1% who serve and protect the 99%.
Among our mission objectives are:

- Honor and Respect
- Educate our youth to “Never Forget” freedoms and liberties are not free and come at a high cost life and injury both seen and unseen.
- “DO..." and support and fund worthy locally projects.
- Support through donations other groups and foundations including Tunnels to Towers Foundation (T2T)
These are tumultuous times for our military; even here in Braintree controversy has surrounded the Elder Affairs and Veterans Services Town Council Committee, which has hurt our veterans and they lost faith, trust and confidence in its Chair-Person.
We want to restore our veterans and elder Faith, Trust and Confidence of the once honored Elder Affairs and Veterans Services Committee.

Your candidacy, your more than 15 years of veterans and seniors support, healthcare and advocacy is exemplary.
