Braintree High Girls Top Wamps Pizzeria Logo Competition

Logo design winners Jenna Henderson (1st place) and Arianna Martinez (2^nd place) display their original designs with restaurant owner Bob Murphy of Wamp's Pizzeria and Cafe, located at 733 Granite Street.  

Murphy’s idea of using the mascot and name with a new design twist, appealed to students who received logo design instruction in their art classes.

After the initial instruction, students worked outside of class, delivering around 150 submissions to the competition. Prizes totaling $500 were awarded by Murphy to the winners and both winners will have their designs emblazoned on future menus, shirts, advertising, etc.

The new logo and the story about the origin and the winners of the contest will be permanently exhibited on the wall of the Wamps Pizzeria and Café.
