Braintree High Named Among Newsweek's Top Public High Schools in 2016

BRAINTREE, MA — Just in time for the start of the school year, Newsweek released its annual list Thursday of the top public high schools in America in 2016, and Braintree High School has made the list.

Braintree High School was ranked among the nation's top 500 schools by Newsweek, ranking 436th in the country and 16th in Massachusetts. Boston Latin, Westford Academy, and Weston High School were name the top high schools in the state.

According to Newsweek's research, 73.8 percent of BHS students are college ready, and 88.3 percent of its graduates are college bound. BHS was 451st listed in 2015's rankings.
