Braintree High School Hosting Prom Season Safety Night
Jennifer Rowe, the Norfolk assistant district attorney will explain consequences students and parents can face because of underage drinking.
BRAINTREE, MA — Prom season is here, and for many high school students, will be among the best nights of the year and hopefully one they always remember. School officials want students to enjoy themselves, but also be safe. So the Braintree High School administration is teaming up with the Norfolk District Attorney's office and the Braintree Alliance for Safe and Healthy Youth to host an event on prom season safety.
The event is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Thursday in the Braintree High School auditorium. Jennifer Rowe, the Norfolk assistant district attorney will explain consequences students and parents can face because of underage drinking. Rowe will also explain the state's "social host" law.
Following Rowe's presentation, school officials will give an overview for all remaining all end-of-the-year events for juniors and seniors.
