BRAINTREE, MA — Braintree High School made the top 60 of Boston Magazine's recent rankings of public high schools in the area. Using data from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Boston Magazine's team compiled the best public schools that are within, or partially within, I-495.

Braintree finished 56th out of the 149 schools that were ranked. The rankings were determined by factors such as SAT scores, student-teacher ratios, graduation rates, according to the magazine.
