Braintree High School Plans Car Parade Graduation

BRAINTREE, MA — Graduating seniors at Braintree High School will still have their commencement ceremony Saturday, but things will be different amid the coronavirus pandemic.

While an in-person ceremony was scheduled for July 30, school officials planned a car parade for 9 a.m., Saturday. The parade starts at the RMV, and in their own cars, students will make their way past town hall and then to John W. LeRoy Jr. Access Road. See the full parade route MAP here.

Braintree police reminded residents that the parade will cause significant road closures and traffic diversions starting at 9:00 a.m., Saturday.

Anyone interested in viewing the parade must do so along public roads while maintaining social distance. A livestream video of the parade will also be available on the Braintree Public School’s Facebook.
