Braintree Home Gets Hit By A Car Second Time In 12 Years

The homeowners are dealing with about $45,000 of damage.

BRAINTREE, MA — The same Howard Street house hit by a car 12 years ago was hit again Sunday afternoon.

Sunday's crash happened when an SUV veered off a busy side street and struck the side of the house. The homeowners told the Patriot Ledger they now deal with significant damage to the foundation, with estimated costs around $45,000.

The driver and passenger inside the SUV were taken to a local hospital, but their conditions are not known at this time. No one living in the house was hurt, the Patriot Ledger reported.
