Braintree 'Kids' Day' Is Back This Week
Wednesday is a day for the kids in Braintree. Here's what to know.

BRAINTREE, MA — Braintree's "Kids Day" returns to town this week, with Wednesday set for the event.
"Kids' Day" is scheduled for Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at French’s Common next to Braintree Town Hall, 1 JFK Memorial Dr.
“I look forward to this wonderful event every year” said Mayor Charles Kokoros. “It means so much to me to provide yet another great summer memory for our children.”

The day includes entertainment with inflatable bounce houses and games with prizes. A free lunch of a hot dog or hamburger followed by ice cream will be provided to all attendees.
For the first time, "Kids' Day" will begin with a sensory-friendly hour.

While all games and inflatable attractions will open at 10 a.m., there will be no announcements or music played until 11 a.m.
“We are proud to make this community event more inclusive,” said Kokoros.
In the event of inclement weather, "Kids’ Day" will be held on July 27 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
