Braintree Leaf Pickup Extended

Mayor Joseph C. Sullivan has extended curbside leaf pick-up for an additional two weeks. Originally expected to conclude on Dec. 1, residents can now put yard-waste out for collection during the weeks of Dec. 4 and 11on their normal trash pick-up day.

“When we plan out our leaf program for the year we try to do our best to peg the best weeks for collection based on past experience, but it is not an exact science” said Sullivan. “This year with a mild fall the leaves are still on the trees so we adjust.”

The Mayor reminded residents to ensure that as with their trash and recycling carts yard-waste is curbside by 7am on the pick-up day. Please use only barrels or paper leaf bags, yard-waste in plastic bags will not be collected. If residents have any questions or need to report a missed pick-up they can contact the trash and recycling office at 781-794-8088.
