Braintree Little League Team Fundraising for Cooperstown Trip

This Saturday, July 13, the Braintree American 11B District Championship Team is hosting a fundraiser for its trip Aug. 23 to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.

There the team will compete in a national tournament, one of a few select teams from around the country. It is the first time a team from Braintree has been selected and now means that future teams will also have a chance to travel to Cooperstown.

Saturday's fundraiser will be at Braintree High School at 10 a.m. 

Participants can buy a numbered golf ball for $10. The balls will be dropped from a helicopter simultaneously and the one that lands closest to the target wins $500. Buy multiple balls and you will automatically be entered to win cool prizes.
