Braintree Man Accused Of Raping Girl In Pre-School

BRAINTREE, MA — A Braintree man was arraigned in Quincy District Court Tuesday after prosecutors said he repeatedly raped a girl when she was in pre-school up until first grade. John Gould, 62, was charged with two counts of child rape, two counts of aggravated child rape, two counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, enticing a child under 16 and accosting/annoying a person of the opposite sex, the Patriot Ledger reported.

Prosecutors told the Patriot Ledger the rapes happened between 2008 and 2012. Gould was arrested Monday and is being held on $50,000 bail.
