Braintree Man Among 6 Arrested In Prostitution Sting: Police

Massachusetts State Police said the sting operation involved police officers posing online as escorts at a hotel in the Revere area.

BRAINTREE, MA — A Braintree man was among six people arrested in a commercial sexual exploitation sting, according to Massachusetts State Police.

The following men were arrested and charged with sexual conduct for a fee:

  • Mohamed Hossain, 30, of Braintree
  • Joewy Gonzalez Villanueva, 37, of Revere
  • Cristhian Reyes, 27, of Lawrence
  • Daniel Eaton, 38, of Melrose
  • Jesus Anyosa, 44, of Saugus
  • (Redacted)

State Police said the sting operation involved police officers posing online as escorts at a hotel in the Revere area. The six men arrived at the hotel after previously agreeing to commercial sex with undercover officers, State Police said.

"The Massachusetts State Police and its local and federal law enforcement partners are committed to the apprehension of perpetrators of sexual exploitation and the safe recovery of victims of sex trafficking," Massachusetts State Police said in a statement.
