Braintree Man Charged For Valentino Burglary In Boston

A Braintree man will appear in court on Monday facing charges that he broke into the designer fashion store in Boston.

BRAINTREE, MA — A Braintree man is charged with breaking and entering into a designer fashion store in Boston, police said.

Wayne O'Keefe, 50, of Braintree, was arrested on Friday around 4:17 p.m. after a traffic stop in the area of 11 Melnea Cass Boulevard.

O'Keefe was determined to be a suspect in the breaking and entering that happened on Dec. 11 at Valentino's 47 Newbury St. location in Boston. His car was stopped on Friday and O'Keefe was placed under arrest for "various violations of the auto laws," Boston police said.

For the auto law violations and the Valentino burglary, O'Keefe is charged with:

  • Operating a motor vehicle without a license
  • Unregistered motor vehicle
  • Number plate violation
  • Possession of class A and B drugs
  • Burglary

O’Keefe will be arraigned in the Boston Municipal Court on Monday morning, officials said.
