Braintree Mayor Kokoros Has New Chief Of Staff

Margaret Laforest was unanimously approved for the role by Braintree's Town Council. She replaces Nicole Taub.

BRAINTREE, MA — Braintree Mayor Charles Kokoros has officially found his next chief of staff.

Margaret Laforest was unanimously approved for the role recently to Braintree's Town Council, confirming that she will take the mantle of chief of staff and director of operations in Braintree.

Laforest, a former Quincy city councilor, replaces Nicole Taub, who recently left Braintree for the Boston Police Department, serving as Commissioner Michael Cox's chief of staff.

Kokoros and Laforest do indeed have a prior working relationship.

Laforest served as the regional director of the Massachusetts Office of Business Development of the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development, and Kokoros said they worked together to bring Integra to their new space on Wood Road.
