Braintree Mayor Kokoros Previews The Weekend Ahead
A Greek Independence Day Celebration, Braintree schools fundraiser and more are all ahead this weekend. Here's what to know.

On Saturday, March 25, 2023, we will be hosting the Greek Independence Day Celebration at Town Hall. The Greek Flag Raising ceremony will take place at 3PM outside of Town Hall. The celebration will include special guests His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios of Boston and Honorable Symeon Tegos, Consul General of Greece and traditional Greek music and dancers.

Also, on Saturday, the Braintree Public Schools Music Department will be having a Mattress Sale Fundraiser. The fundraising event will take place from 10am – 4pm in the BHS auditorium.
On Wednesday, March 29th Old Colony Hospice and Pallative Care will recognize National Vietnam War Veteran’s Day with a Drop – In social at Braintree Town Hall in Cahill Auditorium from 10AM – 11:30AM. Veterans, their families and members of the community are all welcome to attend.

Please stop by Town Hall - Cahill Auditorium through April 7th to view “The Art of the Veteran Project.” The project, honoring veterans, displays art work of Braintree High students under the direction of Miss Abigail Young.
