Braintree Mayor Kokoros Provides Weekend Update
The annual First Responder Suicide Awareness Walk is scheduled for this weekend in Braintree, plus what else to know.

BRAINTREE, MA — On Saturday, August 26th, First Help will be hosting the Annual First Responder Suicide Awareness Walk at Braintree High School. Check In / Registration begins at 9 am. The walk begins at 10:00 am. We look forward to seeing you there.
On Saturday, August 26th the Braintree Farmer’s Market will be open at Town Hall from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Also, on Saturday August 26th, the General Sylvanus Thayer House will be open to the public for tours from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. There will be no charge for the tours, donations from visitors are appreciated.
Additionally, On Saturday August 26th, Bags for Beau, a cornhole fundraiser will be held at Sunset Lake starting at 5 pm. Come enjoy the many activities while supporting such a great cause. All proceeds will be given to the Shriners Hospital on behalf of Beau.
