Sean Quigley will be among the best runners in Monday's Boston Marathon.

BRAINTREE, MA — If you see a runner sporting bib 22 as the elite field leaves Hopkinton, chances are you've spotted Braintree own's Sean Quigley.
Quigley, an Archbishop Williams graduate, will be among the elite runners taking part in the 2017 Boston Marathon. He enters the race on the heels of a 1:05:07 performance at the Houston Half Marathon, finishing 23rd overall.
“Boston is the event I’ve looked most forward to for my marathon career. I grew up just outside Boston, so I understand the significance this race and Patriots’ Day have for the city and state. Knowing I’ll have friends and family throughout the course will be a memorable experience for me,” Quigley told the Boston Marathon's media guide.
