David Hill

HILL, David M. of Braintree formerly of Norwood, passed away May 21, 2013 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Wilma (Farell) Hill. Loving father of David E. L. Hill and his wife Diane of W. Bridgewater and Michael W. L. Hill and his wife Kristy of Bridgewater. Brother of Dinah “Kay” Winters. Dear grandfather of Kristen, Nicholas, Brenna, and Harrison Hill. Mr. Hill was born in Paris, KY where he grew up. He graduated from St. Johns Military Academy in Delafield, WI. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was a Purple Heart recipient. After leaving the service he went to Hollywood, CA to pursue an acting career.

Gerrylyn Meserve

Gerrylyn H. (Bell) (Meserve) Whitman, age 91 of Weymouth formerly of Fort Pierce, Fla. and Braintree died peacefully, May 19, 2013 after a brief illness. She was born in Whitman, MA in 1922 the daughter of Charles and Hazel Bell. She received her nursing degree from Quincy City Hospital in 1943 and worked there until 1957. She was a nurse at South Shore Hospital, Weymouth until 1960. She was a school nurse in the Braintree school system until 1982 when she retired to Florida.
