Mary MacKinnon

MACKINNON, Mary C. “Kay” (MacKinnon), of Braintree, formerly of Dorchester, March 6, 2013 at the age of 102. Wife of the late John D. MacKinnon. Loving mother of John D. MacKinnon and his wife Kathleen of Braintree, Sheldon “Gus” MacKinnon and his wife Joanne of Braintree, Marie “Elsie” Verderber and her husband Carl of Quincy, Joseph A. MacKinnon and his wife Alyce of Marshfield, and Stanley G. MacKinnon and his wife Kathryn of Briantree. .... Mary came to the United States in 1956 . She was a retired Physical Therapist for St. Elizabeth Hospital in Brighton for over 20 years.

Doris Macdonald

Doris Ann (Wahlstrom) Macdonald, 71 years of age passed away at the Royal Rehabilitation Center on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 after a long illness. She was born in Boston and raised in Quincy. She was a 1959 graduate of Quincy High School and in her earlier years worked as a secretary for numerous offices in the Boston area. Doris married her husband David E. Macdonald in 1961 and settled in Braintree. She started her own legal transcription business from her home in the early 1990’s and continued until her retirement a few years ago. .... For many years Doris was The Chairman of the Board of Registrars of Voters in Braintree and was extremely passionate about getting people out to vote. She also was involved in Braintree town politics as a Town Meeting member. She was an avid bowler, competing on several candlepin bowling leagues for many years. Doris was very proud of her Swedish Heritage.

Winifred Peaslee

Winifred P. (White) Peaslee, 96 years of age, entered Life Eternal at her home on Monday, March 4, 2013.  Winnie was born in Boston and had lived in Braintree since 1940.  She was a graduate of the Cambridge High and Latin School.  She was a homemaker and was devoted to her family members.  Winnie was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Quincy.
