Donald Borden

BORDEN, Donald E. of Braintree, formerly of Randolph, passed away April 19, 2013 at the age of 85. He was born in Boston, MA June 28, 1927 and grew up in Randolph, later moving to Braintree where he graduated from Braintree High School after having served in the US Navy during WWII. He later joined the US Army National Guard. Donald was the son of the late Roy and Christina (Mellish) Borden. The beloved husband of Norma (Pilgrim) Borden. Loving father of William Borden and his wife Deborah of TN and Donna Willis and her husband Andrew of Whitman.

Stanley Bartkow

Stanley “Stash” W. Bartkow of Braintree, 64 years of age passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital on Friday April 19, 2013. He was born in Poland and received his education in Poland. Stanley came to America in 1965 settling in Jamaica Plain and later in Dorchester. He moved to Braintree in 1985 where he spent the remainder of his life. His first job when he came to America was with the Ainsworth Gallery in Boston as a picture framer. He was the owner of Griffin Frame Shop on Newbury Street, Boston. He subsequently worked for Carney Hospital for 25 years as a housekeeping supervisor. He also owned Griffin Floor Maintenance.
