FURNESS, Elaine J.( Tromans) of Braintree, formerly of Bedford, England, May 26th, 2013 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Lawrence “Larry” Furness. Loving mother of Greg Furness, Dan Furness and his wife Suzanne. Dear grandmother of Emma and Hannah Furness. Also survived by her relatives in England. She was extremely devoted to her late dog Bridie. Elaine was the youngest daughter of Edward and Stephanie Tromans. She and her husband Lawrence were married in Bedford England in 1957. Elaine was the former past president of the Braintree Art Association and longtime employee of John Scott House Nursing Rehabilitation Center. She was a lifelong animal lover.

Fostine Congdon

Fostine B. (Blanchard) Congdon, 94 years of age entered Life Eternal at the Colonial Nursing Home in Weymouth on May 25, 2013. She was born in Weymouth on August 28, 1918 and lived in East Braintree for 55 years. In her earlier years she was an active member of Union Congregational Church of Weymouth and Braintree serving for many years as church secretary. Fostine was predeceased by her husband Frank Congdon.
