Braintree 'Party In The Park', Movie Nights Back For Summer 2023
Five events are scheduled in Braintree this July. Here's what to know.

BRAINTREE, MA — Braintree officials announced the return of two beloved summer events for 2023.
"We are so happy to provide these wonderful and free events to all our residents," said Mayor Charles Kokoros. "It is a great opportunity to come together as a community and enjoy the beauty of our parks and Sunset Lake. I look forward to seeing you all there."
"Party in the Park" and Braintree summer movie nights are set to return in July. Here's what to know, and when the events are scheduled:

Party in the Park
The parties are free of charge and take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Food will be provided and entertainment is also on the agenda for the events.

In the event of inclement weather parties will be held the following evening.
Locations are as follows:
- Wednesday, July 5: Dyer Hill Playground, 1241 Washington St.
- Tuesday, July 11: Sunset Lake, Safford Street. (This party is part of the summer concert series and includes a performance by the band Gainsville Road.)
- Wednesday, July 19: Lincoln Park, Hobart Street.
Summer Movie Nights
“Summer Movie Nights” take place at French’s Common next to Braintree Town Hall. The movies are free of charge and include pre-movie entertainment beginning at 6 p.m. with the movie beginning at dusk.
Residents are invited to bring blankets and chairs. “Buck-a-buy” concessions will also be available.
In the event of inclement weather there will be no pre-movie entertainment and the movie will be shown in the Town Hall auditorium at 8 p.m.
This summers movies are:
- Thursday, July 13 “The Super Mario Brothers Movie”
- Thursday, July 20 “Puss In Boots: The Last Wish”
