Braintree Penniman Park, Council On Aging Meeting Rescheduled

A Tuesday storm forced the meeting to be rescheduled to Thursday in Braintree. Here's what will be discussed.

BRAINTREE, MA — A Tuesday nor'easter has forced Braintree officials to reschedule a community meeting to discuss the Council on Aging and Penniman Park site project.

The meeting, originally scheduled for Tuesday, will now be held on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Council on Aging, 71 Cleveland Ave.

Officials have been taking public input on the redesign of the parking lot, and the meeting will share updates and also discuss opportunities for the future use of the site.

According to an example concept shared by the town, some examples of potential use include an expanded recreation area and a native plants and garden concept.
