Braintree Police Arrest Man In Brockton Hit-And-Run

The driver left a pedestrian critically injured on Friday afternoon, according to authorities.

BRAINTREE, MA — Braintree police on Friday arrested a 28-year-old Boston man following a serious hit-and-run collision in Brockton involving a pedestrian.

Police arrested Kyle Pollard after spotting his car, which had a broken windshield, near Garden Park and Plain Street. Pollard ran from police, but an officer used a K9 dog to capture him. Pollard was injured and treated at South Shore Hospital.

The hit-and-run happened around 3 p.m. Friday near Main and Court streets in Brockton. The victim was walking to a job interview when he was hit. He was in critical condition at Beth Israel Hospital, according to reports.
