The Braintree Police are currently investigating a theft which occurred at our station. The situation remains fluid, however from what we can gather...An unknown suspect or suspects gained entry into the station and stole a dozen "power rings", a rookie officer brought in this morning because he was excited to celebrate his first National Donut Day as a Police Officer.
Detectives are currently reviewing surveillance video and our break room has been cordoned off for processing. It appears all that remains is a lone chocolate frosted, and remnants of donuts leading out to where we believe the getaway car was waiting.
A tip line is being established, and anyone with knowledge of the theft of our beloved donuts is asked to come forward. This is an active scene, we take our donuts seriously.
#HappyNationalDonutDay Everyone!
