VIDEO: Randolph Man Stabbed in Braintree Road Rage Incident

Police responded to the incident Thursday, which took place on Granite Street.

BRAINTREE, MA - Police are now investigating a stabbing that occurred in Braintree late Thursday afternoon.

At around 5 p.m., police received a report of a man who was stabbed several times over what is believed to be a road rage incident, according to Police Chief Russ Jenkins.

Initially starting on Granite Street near Forbes Road, the incident ended a short distance away near the North Street intersection by Barnes and Noble when both vehicle operators exited their vehicles and got into an altercation.

The victim, a 30-year-old man from Randolph, was transferred to Boston Medical Center.

Braintree Police detectives interviewed the victim at the hospital as well as witnesses at the scene. The State Police Crime Scene Services are examining the crime scene and the victim’s vehicle for evidence.
