Braintree Police Log: Firearm Charges, OUI, and More

November 11

8:02 p.m. - Dominic Zammuto, 21, was arrested on Matthew Lane and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a large capacity firearm, carrying a firearm without a license, improper possession of ammunition, possession of a large capacity magazine, defacing the serial number of a firearm, possession a firearm without an FID card, trafficking a Class B substance, and possession of a Class E license with intent to distribute.

November 12

10:01 p.m. - Carol Abruzzese, 56, was arrested on Capen Road and charged with operating under the influence of liquor and drinking from an open container of alcohol while inside a motor vehicle.

November 13

3:42 p.m. - Three people were arrested on Granite Street. Walter West, 25, was charged with carrying a firearm without a license (second offense), larceny over $250, receiving stolen property under $250, improper possession of ammunition, and firearm in use of a felony; Samantha Williams, 34, was charged with larceny over $250 and receiving stolen property under $250; and Jasmine Burrell, 28, was charged with larceny over $250, receiving stolen property under $250 (subsequent offense).

11:26 p.m. - Cynthia Johnson, 42, was arrested on Union Street on a warrant.
