Braintree Police Release Footage of Watson Park Suspect
Police say a man has been following and sometimes assaulting women around the Waston Park area.

Braintree, MA — Police have released a photo of a suspect in the Waston Park investigation.
Friday, new surveillance footage has been released as part of the investigation.

In the past week, several reports of a man following women and sometimes assaulting them have been made public.
On May 29 at 8:30 p.m., a 17-year-old Braintree resident on Quincy Avenue between Edge Hill and Beechwood Roads was grabbed by a man from behind.

On June 7 at about 8:30 p.m. a woman ran down a side street from a man who was following her.
On June 23 at 6:30 p.m., the victim told police that a man followed her from the park to her home. Police say the man walked past her house a few times and walked up her driveway. He left when he heard a dog barking. Later that night at 9:30 p.m., a 21-year-old woman from Braintree told police that while on Quincy Avenue, she was slapped from behind by a person.
On June 25 just before 11 p.m., a woman told police that she was talking on Arborway Drive near Argyle Road when the man approached her from behind, grabbed her, and ran in the opposite direction.
The incidents had a similar suspect in each one. In the June 23 and 25 incidents, the man was described as a between 18-22 and wore a white shirt and black shorts.
Police have increased patrols in the area in both marked and unmarked vehicles.
