Missing Braintree Boa Found in Weymouth

The search for a four-foot boa constrictor in South Braintree is now over.

Braintree police found themselves on a great snake hunt Thursday.

Around midday, police announced that a four-foot boa constrictor was on the loose in South Braintree with its location unknown. Police said it was last seen around Sunset Lake near the playground and BEMA building.

While boa constrictors are not dangerous, those with small pets were advised to keep them indoors and monitored if they were outside.
