Braintree Police Two on Credit Card Fraud Charges

From the Braintree Police Department:
Richard Briggs, 23, of Hanover, and Christina Gerry, 28, of Rockland were arrested on Tuesday, November 3rd at about 1:30 p.m. Officers responded to the parking lot in front of Braintree Liquors in North Braintree Square on a report of a male and female passed out in their vehicle. Once officers arrived they located the two and after several attempts to rouse them they woke up and identified themselves as Briggs and Gerry. As officers investigated further they learned the two had purchased cigarettes in the Liquor Store using a credit card that had allegedly been stolen earlier in the day in Hanover. Several other items were recovered from the vehicle that had allegedly been stolen during multiple housebreaks on the South Shore. Briggs and Gerry were both placed under arrest. Briggs was charged with uttering a false instrument, forgery of a document, larceny under $250, receiving a stolen credit card and receiving stolen property over $250. Gerry was charged with receiving a stolen credit card, receiving stolen property over $250 and possession of a false motor vehicle document.
