Braintree Recycling Remains Resident What Can't Be Recycled

We are familiar with what can be in the recycle cart-here is what should not be. No syringes, needles, motor oil, food waste, foam, peanuts, bulk wrap or film, shredded paper, scrap metal, dishes, drinking glasses or baking dishes, frozen food containers or ice cream boxes. Due to plastic coatings they are not recyclable. Do not flatten smaller containers/boxes as the sort equipment will mistakenly sort them as paper.

Most important: No plastic bags in recycling. They bind up sorting equipment and have to be removed manually.
