Braintree To Remember 9/11 Monday Morning

The remembrance will be held Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. at Town Hall.

BRAINTREE, MA — Town officials will pause next week to observe the 16th anniversary of the September 11th attack

The remembrance will be held Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. at Town Hall. Residents are invited the annual observance. This year’s observance will include remarks from the Mayor and officials, moments of silence at 8:46 a.m. and 9:03 a.m., and patriotic musical selections offered by the Braintree High School Concert Choir. A light breakfast will be served at the conclusion of the ceremony.

Following the ceremony, Sullivan will be swearing-in the town's new Veterans Agent, Cynthia Harris. This will be held in the Johnson Room.
