Braintree To Remember 9/11 With Saturday Ceremony
The keynote speaker will be Braintree fire Lt. Freddie Viola, who went to ground zero to help with the 9/11 rescue effort.

BRAINTREE, MA —Braintree will remember the victims of the 9/11 attacks Saturday in a ceremony at the fire department's headquarters.
The morning ceremony will take place on the 20th anniversary of the events that killed nearly 3,000 people, including over 200 from Massachusetts. The keynote speaker will be Braintree fire Lt. Freddie Viola, who went to ground zero to help with the rescue effort, following the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York City.
"We will honor all those that we lost," Mayor Charles Kokoros said, including 206 victims from Massachusetts.
