Braintree Residents Could See Dirty Water During Test

Testing should not affect the quality of the water, but some Braintree residents may experience temporary dirty water, town officials said.

BRAINTREE, MA — Water and Sewer Division officials for Braintree, Randolph and Holbrook will be testing the interconnections that supply water, as part of work being done at the treatment plant. The test will be conducted Thursday.

Mayor Joseph Sullivan's office said the work should not affect the quality of the water, some Braintree residents, especially in the Highlands and Pond St. areas, may experience occasional dirty water throughout the day.

Town officials said if your water is still dirty Friday morning, run it for 15 minutes to clear. If issues persist please call the Water and Sewer Division at 781-843-8097.
