Braintree Schedules Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

The Town Hall Mall is set to host the annual tree lighting on Saturday. Here's what to know.

BRAINTREE, MA — Braintree will shine a little brighter starting on Saturday.

Officials announced the scheduling of the annual Christmas Tree Lighting, which will take place on Saturday with festivities beginning at 4 p.m. on the Town Hall Mall.

Hot chocolate will be served and Christmas carols sang at 4 p.m., with local students doing the honors of singing. Those students will be led by Music Director Matthew Sawtelle.

Mayor Charlies Kokoros will be joined by special guests to light the town tree at 4:30 p.m., officials said.
