Here are the dates to know heading toward the end of the school year in Braintree.
BRAINTREE, MA — With April vacation less than a week away and summer vacation looming large, there are several important dates to mark on the calendar before the end of the school year in June. Here are five things to know for the remainder of the school year. A full day-by-day calendar of events is available here.
April 15-19: April Vacation, includes Patriots' Day and Good Friday
May 21: Seniors' Last Day

May 24: Early release day
May 27: Memorial Day

June 1: High School Graduation, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. (tenative)
June 25: Last day of school, early release (tenative)
There's also MCAS test for grades 6, 7, 8, and 10 at various dates throughout May including May 6, 7, 10, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, and 22. Grade 9 has MCAS on June 4 and 5. Check the calendar to see when tests are, as well as other important dates to close out the year.
