Braintree Schools Announce Martin Luther King Poster Contest
Braintree students are invited to take part in a poster contest reflecting Dr. King's ideas on civic responsibility and human equality.

From the Braintree Public Schools:
In celebration of Dr. King’s birthday, Mayor Joseph Sullivan is inviting all Braintree students to take part in a poster contest reflecting Dr. King’s ideas on civic responsibility and human equality. The theme of the contest is “Walk the Talk.” Students should illustrate how one can take Dr. King’s words into peaceful actions to promote the rights of all people to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.
Basic Guidelines:

- Entire poster must be hand-designed
- Use crayons, colored pencils, markers, or paints
- Poster should be no larger than 12” x 18”
- Clearly print your name, grade and school on the back of the poster
- You may work in a group
Judging will be based on creativity, originality, and relevance to the theme. Submission deadline is Jan. 9.
