Braintree Schools Considering Changes To Homework Policy

School officials said they'll send a survey this week to parents to get a sense for how homework is working and not working in Braintree.

BRAINTREE, MA — Parents will be asked to fill out a survey this week regarding the homework policy for Braintree Public Schools, school officials said at Monday's school committee meeting.

"This is a very baseline survey trying to get some feedback from families about how at the elementary, the middle and high school level families are feeling homework is being successful or not so successful at home," said Interim Assistant Superintendent Courtney Miller.

Miller said depending on the survey results, thy'll be referred to the school committee's policy and education subcommittee for review.
