Braintree Shooting Under Investigation
Police said the victim's injuries don't appear to be life-threatening, but they were taken to an area hospital for evaluation.
BRAINTREE, MA — Braintree police are investigating after a person was shot in the leg on Sunday night.
On Sunday at 9:30 pm, a 911 caller reported that a person was shot on Skyline Drive.
Several officers responded and found a man suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the leg, police said.

The victim was treated by Braintree police officers, firefighters and paramedics at the scene before being transported to a Boston hospital.
His injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, police said.

The circumstances of the shooting are still being investigated but police do not believe there is any ongoing threat to the public.
