Braintree Staples Worker Threatened With Ax On Black Friday: PD
Nicholas Gatti, of Weymouth, confronted an employee at Staples in Braintree with an ax over a romantic feud, according to police.
BRAINTREE — A Weymouth man was arrested on Black Friday after police said he confronted an employee with an ax at Staples in Braintree over a romantic feud, the Patriot Ledger reported. Nicholas Gatti, 21, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct and carrying a dangerous weapon.
Police said the confrontation happened around 9:45 a.m. at the store at 500 Grossman Drive because Gatti was fighting with the male employee over a relationship with the same girl.
