Braintree Store Sells $1 Million Scratch Ticket

Braintree, MA — A Raynham man has $1 million coming his way thanks to a scratch ticket purchased in Braintree.

Jon Bombardier won the prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “Billion Dollar Bonanza” instant game. He will receive his winnings in annual payments of $50,000 (before tax withholdings) for over 20 years, according to the State Lottery.

His winning ticket was purchased at Luke’s Convenience Store, located at 411 Pond St. in Braintree. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for the sale.

There are two $10 million prizes and 36 additional $1 million prizes remaining in the game.
