Braintree Teenager Hit By Car, In 'Stable' Condition
The teenager suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car on Washington Street early Sunday morning.

BRAINTREE, MA — A Braintree teenager is in "stable" condition after suffering serious injuries after being hit by a car early Sunday morning.
At approximately 1:30 a.m., a female pedestrian was struck by a car on Washington Street by Milton Road, Braintree police said.
She was transported to the hospital where she is being treated for serious injuries. The full extent of the injuries wasn't known by police at the time of this story, but her condition is stable.

The driver remained on the scene after the crash and an investigation is "open and ongoing," police said. However, there were no signs of impairment on the operator.
