Braintree Town Councilor Schedules Weekly Office Hours

BRAINTREE, MA — District 5 Town Councilor Meredith Boericke has scheduled weekly office hours on Sundays where residents are invited to share their ideas and concerns. This Sunday, Mayor Charles Kokoros will be a guest and will also talk with residents at the Dunkin' at 1172 Washington St.

Office hours are at 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. every Sunday and do not require an appointment. Boericke said the meetings are part of fufilling her campaign promise of making sure she brings residents' perspectives to town hall.

"I am just as committed to hearing from residents now as I was as a candidate," Boericke said. "I want residents to know where and when to find me to talk face to face."

Boericke's other outreach efforts have included translating town news for Braintree's growing Chinese-speaking population, video updates after Town Council meetings and a monthly email newsletter.
