BRAINTREE, MA — Martin Luther King Jr. Day is scheduled for Monday, which means people will have the day off of work, and some local businesses and other parts of life will be closed or altered.This includes trash and recycling collection in Braintree, which will be delayed by one day next week.The delay is for all trash and recycling curbside collections during the week of the Martin Luther King holiday on Jan. 16, Braintree officials said. Regular collections will resume the following week, they added.
