After finishing first in the Cranberry League, the Braintree Whitesox will now host No. 4 seed Easton Huskies Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at Braintree High School.
In the other playoff game, No. 2 Weymouth Phillies will host the No, 3 Canton A's at Libby Field in Weymouth. The winners of both games will square off for the title Thursday.
Braintree ended the season with a 21-3 record and with Most Valuable Player (Anthony Melchionda) and Pitcher of the Year nominees (Nick Asselin and Kevin Keith). Winners of those awards and Rookie of the Year will be announced Thursday.
