Braintree Woman Indicted On Child Rape Charges
A woman accused of raping a child, if convicted could face a longer sentence now that the case was transferred to Norfolk Superior Court.

DEDHAM MA — A Braintree woman was indicted on several rape-related charges after police said she met with an underage boy for sex and sent nude photos of herself to the victim.
Tracey Simmons, 49, was charged in Norfolk Superior Court with 10 counts of statutory rape and dissemination of harmful material to a minor, the Patriot Ledger reported.
She was arrested on Sept. 3 and was held on $10,000 bail. Simmons pleaded not guilty at her arraignment on Sept. 4. The case was originally heard in Quincy District court, but the indictment transferred the case to superior court, where those convicted can face longer sentences.
