Braintree's Scott Caldwell Signs New Contract with Revolution
The New England Revolution's Team MVP has agreed to a new contract.

BRAINTREE, MA - Homegrown New England Revolution midfielder and Braintree native Scott Caldwell will play for his hometown club for the foreseeable future.
The club announced that Caldwell has signed a contract extension. Exact terms were not announced but General Manager Michael Burns said the deal would keep Caldwell in New England for “multiple more years.”
Caldwell has become an integral part of the Revolution, playing in 89 games, mainly as a defensive midfielder.

Last year, Caldwell appeared in all 34 regular season games and spent 2,882 minutes on the field. He was also named the Santander Team MVP and Player’s Player of the Year.
