Business Networkers Walk for American Heart Association
Braintree BNI Chapter Raises Funds
The BNI South Shore Networkers fielded a team of walkers for the recent American Heart Association fundraiser. They covered a five-mile course through Boston which started at the Hatch Shell. The volunteers included (L to R): Dan Gorfinkle, Eric Michael Cohen, Bernadette Cohen, Steve Rosenberg, Sean Cray, Brett Miller, Kristin Thompson, Aimee Yawnick, Nancy Brennan, and Jenna. They exceeded the Team’s original goal of $1000.00 by raising $3710.00 to help the Heart Association’s programs. This will help the AHA to save and improve lives with research, education and emergency care. Spokesperson Nancy Brennan noted: “We are very happy to help the Heart Association and proud to help out. It is true to our motto of Givers Gain.”
The South Shore Networkers chapter offers members the opportunity to share ideas, contacts and most importantly, business referrals. The Chapter has a proven record of increasing business to its Members through personal referrals.
