Coronavirus: MBTA Officer From Braintree Celebrates Recovery
Police escorted MBTA Officer Chi Keung, of Braintree, home to celebrate his recovery from the new coronavirus.

WEYMOUTH, MA — An MBTA police officer from Braintree that spent 15 days fighting the new coronavirus at South Shore Hospital was given the green light to return home.
At one point, Officer Chi Keung was on a ventilator, but has since improved and was allowed to go home Tuesday. MBTA, Braintree and Weymouth police showed up at the hospital with a full motorcade to celebrate Keung's recovery and escort him home.
